This week we had the lovely Jo in self-presenting for Enviropest.

Enviropest decided that they wanted to present themselves to add a more personal touch to the video and website. Jo did a fantastic job and we look forward to seeing the website and video go live soon.

Self-Presenting is an alternative option to choosing one of our professional presenters we have on offer. They can help keep a local feel to website and video. Also, if they are an authority on the subject it can be good for people to put a face to a company.

We also had the fantastic Liz in to record Charms Direct and Ancar B Technologies. Liz smashed it out of the park for both of these videos.

It’s nearly that time of year again, and when we’ve not been busy practising our ‘disappointed but don’t show it’ present opening face, we’ve been knuckling down to some serious video production.

This week we had the fantastic Liz Peters in, a professional video presenter who came and recorded three scripts for Align Mediation, Utility Assist and the London Lawn Turf Company.

And Liz was under the weather too, so we had to plough on with lots of tea and biscuits, but we came out the other side with three great web presenter videos.

After flying to an altitude of 39,045 in a helium filled balloon, Felix Baumgartner completed the record breaking dive in a mere 4:20 and reached a blistering speed of 1342.8 km/h or 833mph if your on our side of the pond. He also broke two other standing world records: highest freefall and highest manned balloon flight.

Quite a few statistics there but one statistic that stands out above the rest is the 8 million people that were live streaming the event via YouTube. When you look at those figures it’s not hard to realise the power and potential of web video.

New research from Reuters has found that property prices in London are expected to rise by up to 5% over the next couple of years.

Outside of the capital – where unemployment remains high and banks are unwilling to lend – prices are set to fall 1% during the same period.

Conditions in the housing market continue to be prohibitive to buyers – which makes selling a property an arduous and often lengthy task.

Reuters also found that the average price of a home in the UK is nearly £165,000, and the average Briton’s salary a fraction over £26,000. This means the average home is beyond the financial means of the average person. A very strange situation.
